Custom Housings & Transfer Systems
Compact Filters and Strainers
Allied Reliability compact filters and strainers are composed of one drawn carbon steel housing secured by four heavy-duty bolts to a cast iron cover and contain one filter element or strainer basket. Specifically designed for liquid applications with flows to 50 GPM and design pressures to 200 PSI.
The duplex is composed of two drawn carbon steel housings, including one filter element or strainer basket suspended from a common cast iron cover. The shells are interconnected by a dual-circuit transfer valve directing continuous flow to a singular shell or to both shells simultaneously. Options include steel covers, stainless steel, rotors, and all stainless steel construction.
ASME-Code Filters and Strainers
ASME-code filters and strainers are engineered to meet the exacting specifications dictated by OEM's oil companies and engineering firms. Customized to your requirements, our filters and strainers can be designed to meet API specifications, MIL-specs, NACE, ABS, USCG, and most engineering standards. Some features included:
- For ease of maintenance - cover swing bolts
- For a leak-free cover seal - cover O-rings
- Lifting davits for covers over 85lbs
- Easy-to-read differential pressure gauges on all vessels 16' in diameter or larger
- Heavy-duty carbon steel bodies with ductile iron or steel covers
Zero Leakage Two-Way Transfer Valves – 3-Port and 6-Port Advance Designs
Designed specifically for assembly between filters, strainers, and heat exchangers where continue service and positive shut-off are necessary. Featuring an exclusive internal quad-ring, these values are designed to eliminate site-to-side leakage even at a test pressure of 1000 PSI. Operating the zero-leakage transfer valve is simplified with no pads to seat and unseat and no locking pins to lift.
The internal arrangement is free of springs, pins, and levers that easily break loose and cause severe damage to the costly equipment that it was meant to protect. After equalizing the pressure, rotate the handle to transfer the fluid from one vessel to the other. Available in 1-1/2”, 2”, 3”, and 4” sizes. Engineered for operating pressures to 665 PSI. The standard design includes a steel body and an iron rotor. Stainless steel rotors or all stainless steel construction options are available.
